What do you get when you take the modern channel from the pre2 and add more gain and true bypass switching? Well, you get the modern channel from the pre2 with more gain and true bypass switching. We call it the shred2. Nifty name, don't you think? Think of it as a single channel all-tube preamp or as a rack mount distortion pedal thingy that reverses hair loss.
