The equal2 puts a tube-buffered, interactive EQ at your fingertips (or feet if you will) and gives you the added bonus of about 12dB gain boost to buffer the next effects in your chain or push your tube amp into overdrive. It also provides a low impedance output to help keep things quiet down the line, and its premium 12AX7 warms up your signal with tube harmonics along the way.

Treble, Middle, and Bass controls enable you fine tune your sound, whether you want to leave the equal2 on all the time or just use it for certain types of playing. These controls are highly interactive, so slight adjustments make a big difference and offer the largest tonal palette possible.  Finally, it has true bypass switching to keep your signal pure when not in use.

Like our other pedals, the equal2 is built like an amp to give you the most interaction with your guitar, playing style, and amplifier possible. For maximum harmonic complexity, we apply over 230 Volts to the plates of a premium 12AX7 tube in the equal2, making it a true high voltage design. Of course, there is absolutely no solid state in the signal path. None.
