THEY called my great-great grandfather a dreamer. But old s2 knew that one thing worse than being a dreamer was being afraid to dream--and being afraid of his dreams.
Old s2 dreamed of many things. He dreamed of running in place, unable to move while being chased by a giant pink elephant seal. He dreamed of going to school without his pants on and even worse: going to school with your pants on. He dreamed of throwing punches under water--able to hit the killer goldfish but not able to inflict any real damage. He dreamed of walking into church on a sweltering Sunday afternoon wearing nothing but a plaid corset. Wait. That one really happened. Nevermind.
All this dreaming of his of course was a sign--a sign to sleep less and work more. A sign to close down the family brothels, meth labs and moonshine stills and go into legitimate business. So in 1895 the s2 Company was born.
Today we're s2amps.com. And though our name may have changed, our philosophy hasn't. Give our customers what they want: quality, innovation and value. And leave a nice little profit margin in there to keep the family from taking a downward spiral back into meth, moonshine and plaid corsets.
